Railways transports 1,150 tonnes of vital medical items amid lockdown

Indian Railways has delivered 1150 tons of critical medical supplies to counter the COVID-19 pandemic in different parts of the world.

Indian Railways provides drugs, gloves, hospital products, and other medical materials through its scheduled delivery services to support the initiatives of the Indian government to handle the pandemic’s threats and adverse effects.
“During the hour of turmoil, Indian railways cross human lives. Skimmed camel milk has recently been shipped by a parcel train from Ajmer to Mumbai for an autistic boy when the parents resorted to a social networking site for support. Similarly, another autism boy in Ajmer with serious illnesses had a medical collection.
