On April 7 alone, 9 flights carried 40 tonnes critical medical goods across IndiaLogYcode
Nine Lifeline UDAN flights transported 39.3 tonnes of medical supplies across the country on April 7, 2020.
The total freight carried during the Covid-19 shutdown for these flights is about 240 tonnes. Lifeline UDAN has run 161 flights to date covering 1.41.080 kilometres. Of both, Air India and Partnership Air flew 99 flights while Indian Air Force (IAF) flew 54.
On the international road, Air India carried 6.14 tons of medical equipment from Hong Kong, China on April 7, and additionally Air India raised 8.85 tons of supplies to Colombo, Srilanka.
