New special secretary (logistics): Pawan Kumar Agarwal IASLogYcode
The cabinet recruitment committee chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has named Pawan Kumar Agarwal IAS as the new Special Secretary (Logistics) under the Ministry of Finance, Commerce and Industry. The central government has also named new secretaries for the shipping ministry and the road and highways ministry in a significant reshuffling of the secretary portfolios.
On 30 April 2020, the present special secretary (logistics), N Sivasailam, will retire from his post.
Pawan Kumar Agarwal is a West Bengal officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) batch in 1985, currently working as secretary in the Department of Consumer Affairs under the ministry.
