A.P. records a good start to the year with its Q1 financial performance. Moller – Maersk has reported that the Q2 volumes are projected to decline by 20-25 percent throughout the whole sector.
As the COVID-19 pandemic appears to contribute to structural volatility in the coming years, the suspension on full-year guidance for 2020, announced on 20 March, persists.
Søren Skou, CEO, A.P. Moller-Maersk said “Going into Q2 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic remains poor in visibility. We continue to help our customers in sustaining their supply chains, but while global demand tends to be negatively affected, we anticipate sales to fall in Q2 for all industries.
